This flat roof replacement project also required complete decking replacement. The decking was damaged from excessive water puddling for long periods of time. This allows for water to penetrate through any cracks in the roofing paper, making its way to the wood and rotting it over time.
Rausa Builders Corp. removed all the existing roofing paper and all decking. After decking replacement, 75 Felt with Tin Cap was installed, followed by 2 Fiber Layers with hot mop and finally, the cap sheet installation with hot mop as well.
